Workshop: Sustainable Production & Consumption (SCP) in the Eastern European & Southern Caucasus Regions of the EECCA

As part of a PECE project on Sustainable Production and Consumption in the EECCA region, a three-day event is scheduled to take place simultaneously in Kyiv and Tbilisi, 17-19 April 2007, devoted to debating EECCA regional SCP issues. The first two days in each city will focus on Eastern Europe and South Caucasus issues, respectively, while Day 3, Thursday 19 April, will feature a video/satellite link workshop between Kyiv and Tbilisi, integrating London and Amsterdam with additional links to Copenhagen, Geneva and Brussels. There will be a range of speakers and you are able to log in and follow proceedings from your desk! PECE forum and networking event

PECE-16: "Open Dialogue: Government, Industry, Civil Society"

Conference and workshops scheduled for 19th-22nd September 2006 at Mariupol State University of the Humanities, Ukraine. Themes are Business & the Environment, Implementing Legislation and Citizen's Participation in Local Decision Making, in the context of Ukraine's Millennium Development Goals to ensure environmental sustainability. PECE partners are St James's Consultancy & Research, Groundwork UK, Cambrensis Ltd and British Council, with funding from The Leventis Foundation.
